About OKeba

Growing value chains that work for farmers

OKeba Uganda Ltd supports farmers, cooperatives, buyers and partners through quality seed, grain aggregation, farmer training, extension, processing and market linkage systems.

Who We Are

An agribusiness partner built around farmer productivity and market access.

Established in 2017, OKeba works across seed and grain value chains with farmer mobilization, capacity building, input access, aggregation, processing, marketing and business linkages. The company supports smallholder farmers to improve yields, produce quality grain and connect to better markets.

The company works across central, mid-western and northern Uganda, linking farmers to quality seed, agro inputs, practical extension, aggregation, processing, packaging and buyer relationships.

OKeba’s model combines contract-based farming, field extension, farmer training, aggregation, processing and market linkage. This helps address weak agronomic knowledge, post-harvest losses, market uncertainty and limited access to working capital.

Through farmer mobilization, field demonstrations and post-harvest support, OKeba helps producers improve crop stand, handle grain more safely and prepare produce for structured markets.

Its work with women, youth, refugees, farmer groups, buyers and development partners is organized around practical field support, cleaner produce handling and stronger market linkages.
